What is the SchoolsOS Circular & Messages System?

SchoolsOS Circular & Messages is a school communication feature designed to help users access official circulars and exchange messages through the school platform.

Circulars can be viewed from a published list, while the Messages section provides separate Inbox and Sent areas for managing received and outgoing communication.

This makes it easier to distinguish incoming communication from messages that have already been shared.

Focus Area 05

Communicate with Staff and Students

The Create Message feature allows class teachers to send messages to either staff members or students.

Teachers can add a subject, create the message body, include attachments, select a message category, and decide whether replies should be enabled.

This provides schools with a structured communication option directly within the SchoolsOS platform.

Focus Area 06

View Circulars and Messages on Mobile

SchoolsOS also provides access to communication functions through its mobile workflow.

Users can access circulars from Recent Updates, where they can view available circulars.

The mobile Messages workflow allows users to:

  • View received messages in the Inbox
  • Switch between Inbox and Sent
